There are auction house techniques that don't take hours and hours where you can make hundreds of signets of gold in profit in short periods of time. At higher levels, there is so much easy gold to be made that you could just focus on leveling up rather than buying gold.
There is a great temptation to buy gold while playing World of Warcraft. Just know that this is a bad idea and how it can hurt you and the economy in the game.
